Fairymount Fairymount is a hill in north Roscommon, a few kilometers south of Boyle. The hill is topped by a ringfort and modern mobile phone mast. A few hundred meters to the north, on a lower shelf, is a fairly large stone cairn with a massive and dramatic view to the north. Most of the important megalithic sites in County Sligo are visible from this cairn: Knocknashee, Muckelty, Kesh Corran, Carrowkeel, Knocknarea, The Curlew's cairn, and Moytura can all be clearly seen.
